Accord in Moscow

(N.Z.P. A.-Reuter—Copyright) MOSCOW, Oct. 13. France and the Soviet Union today signed a protocol under which the two countries will hold regular political consultations. President Pompidou, who will end his eight-day visit to the Soviet Union today, and President Podgomy signed the document in the ornate Catherine’s Hall of the Kremlin Great Palace. It was there two months ago, that the Soviet Union Prime Minister (Mr Kosygin) and the West German Chancellor (Mr Brandt) signed their treaty, renouncing the use of force. Today’s signing was shown live on Moscow television.
