DEFENCE DECEIVED.—The Papanui Rugby league hooker, K. R. Blackler, evades the Marist-Western Suburbs forwards, M. H. Mohi (on ground) and A. P. Coll, during the preliminary final at the Show Grounds last Saturday. Marist-Western Suburbs won, 17-10, and will meet Linwood in the grand final tomorrow.
