No Airline Fare Increase
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, August 21. Air New Zealand had no proposal to increase fares, its spokesman said today, commenting on a suggestion last evening that the airline might seek an increase at a worldwide air-fares conference in Hawaii next month because of increased air navigation charges and fuel taxes in Australia. The airline would be seeking some fare concessions for certain types of travel, the spokesman said.
