Memorial Fund

A fund in memory of the life and work of the Very Rev. M. W. Wilson, a former Christchurch Presbyterian minister, has been set up by the parishioners of Knox Presbyterian. Church, Bealey Avenue.Already the people of Knox Church have given $5OO towards the fund which has a target of $lOOO. It is hoped that the target ! will be reached by the end of next month. The . money will be given to the new ecumenical Pacific Theological College in Suva, Fiji, for prizes in theology. Mr Wilson, who was chap-lain-of both St Andrew’s College and Rangi-ruru Girls’ School, was minister of Knox Church for 16 years. He was a former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand and a former president of the National Council of Churches. Donations to the fund may be sent to the treasurer of Knox Church, P.O. Box 1039, Christchurch.
