Salaries Offer Inadequate’
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 20. The Government’s latest offer on State services clerical salaries is seen to be inadequate. After a meeting today between representatives of the Combined State Service Organisations and the State Services Co-ordinating Committee on the subject, the secretary of the combined organisation (Mr D. P. Long) said: “We received an offer which we consider to be inadequate.”
No further meeting had so far been planned, he said.
