ELECTRIC SCISSORS

Electric scissors which should be a boon to the home dress-maker will be on display at the Dot Pattern stand at the Fair.

Two inch-long blades protrude from one end of a small plastic case containing torch batteries which provide safely the small amount of power needed. The blades vibrate rapidly to shear through the cloth as the case is pushed forward. The vibrating blades do not constitute a safety hazard, as a finger can be held between them without harm. The scissors can be handled equally well by left-handed or right-handed persons and are compact and easily operated by means of a push button. They will cut through any material, including velvet, heavy woollens and even suede leather.
