THIS IS THE STATE LANDAULETTE which Rolls-Royce held in reserve in case the £10,050 Phantoms ordered by the New Zealand and Australian Governments for the Royal tour failed to catch the ship. It costs about £14,500, is one of only four to have been built, and has now been sold to an undisclosed customer. The folding roof is hydraulically operated, and the rear seat can be raised to give a better view of the occupants. The car has two air-conditioning units, and its top speed is about 105 miles an hour.
