Industrialist Gives slm (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright! SYDNEY, June 24. A New Zealand-born Sydney industrialist announced tonight the establishment of a $1,000,000 medical and scientific research foundation. Mr William Taree said the foundation’s first project would be to establish a health screening service, to be set lup in Sydney at a cost of I $500,000. , Patients, referred by their 'doctors, would receive comprehensive health checks and tests, and the results would be processed by a computer.

The foundation would also assist the rehabilitation of disabled persons in industry, and endow a chair in New South Wales University’s School of Electrical Engineering.
