Sick Leave Gain
An approach for sick leave, provisions gained by Auckland brewery workers has ‘ been made by the Canterbury Brewery Workers’ Union, which on Wednesday evening congratulated the Auckland | union on what it regarded as a major step in improving workers’ conditions. The Auckland union has negotiated an agreement that, gives workers two weeks sick j leave at ruling rates after six 1 months service, and a further' four weeks if the worker is. on social security, in which, case the employers pay $ll • a week.
