On the strength of that form he should be difficult to match again even with top-weight of 9-12. Hastings CHILL (Race 8). B m 6yrs by Deo Juvante — Tropical, trained by W. Gillies, Hastings. One of Hastings most consistent sprinters this winter. Since winning the open sprint at Poverty Bay last month she has been placed in each of her three races. He has the ability to overcome a wide barrier draw and is in very good form, having won two of his last five starts He was runner-up in each of the other three and was a close second last time out. after trying for an all-the-way win. at Waipa last Saturday week.—Auckland correspondent.
