Quario Back

Quario came through his first lest of any consequence when he was given strong work over five furlongs at Riccarton last Tuesday.

This trainer. C. C. McCarthy, said: "He's freer now than he has been for a long time and does not seem to feel his knee. I m not over-confident about his future but can only hope for the best.”

Quario looks in great condition and evidently has exercised himself a lot in the paddock during his spell as he has been back in work only about three weeks.
