AIR CADET LEAGUE
Proposal By Committee (N.Z Press Association) | WELLINGTON, June 24. ( An interim committee for a proposed national council to 'control a New Zealand cadet league similar to the Air Cadet League of Canada and I the Civil Air Patrol of the (United States was set up in (Wellington today. The decision was made at a meeting of representatives of the Air League, the Federation of Brevet Clubs and the Air Force Association under the chairmanship of Sir Arthur Nevill, president of the Air Force Association and a former Chief of the | Air Staff. The committee resolved ithat the Government should (reconsider its policy of abandoning the A.T.C. town i squadrons and declare an 1 inter-regnum to allow the (handing over of the present (establishments by the end of 1971.
