B. Anderson’s Narrow Win

B. Anderson narrowly won the South Island Rothmans chess championship by half a point from T. Van Dijk and G. Haase, after the final round and adjourned matches were completed yesterday. A. Carpinter and J. Lichter tied for the B grade, while the C grade also ended in a tie between M. Harvey and V. Small.
