Pensions
Sir,—l am tired of hearing about the cost of living from members of Parliament union secretaries, and others who like to moan a lot Never in the history of this country have we had it so easy. Everybody has everything that money can buy, but not so many have that great asset contentment As for us old folk, our needs are very few and the pension quite adequate for all reasonable people. Come rain, hail, snow, or drought the money is always there; we have no tax responsibilities of any kind. We are indeed in clover.—Yours, etc., HAPPY JOE. April 6, 1970.
