NEW ROOMS APPROVED

Burnside High School (from Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, Feb. 2. Approval has been given for the preparation of working drawings and a firm estimate of the cost for additions to Burnside High School. Advice of this has been received by the member for Riccarton (Mr E. S. F. Holland) from the Minister of Education (Mr Taiboys). The work will comprise a senior studies block of nine rooms, the addition of four rooms to the arts and crafts block, additions to the administration block and ancillary services including paving and courts. The buildings will be ready for occupation in February, 1972, and will be in addition to a teaching block for which plans are already being prepared and which is to be! iready for February, 1971.
