ROMNEYS FOR KENYA.—Some of the ewes in the consignment of 20 stud two-tooth ewes and three stud rams which recently left New Zealand to join the National Romney stud of Kenya. The sheep are from the studs of Messrs J. H. Rutherford and J. B. Dunderdale, of Feilding. The dams of the ewes have over a lifetime produced 159 per cent of lambs and 12 of the ewes exported were twins.
