DUTCH BLOOD.—This calf, bom a few days ago on the Longbeach property in Mid-Canterbury, was bred artificially using semen from a bull from North Holland which is now being used in Britain for artificial breeding. The bull was acquired for 5500 guineas. With the calf are, on the left, Mr J. H. Grigg, and the dairyman, Mr B. J. Chapman.
