(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. J. McConnochie, the 16-year-old Dunedin swimmer, broke his eighth New Zealand record within a month at the Otago championships. He was timed at 2min 27.1 sec for the junior boys’ 220 yards medley, taking I.2sec off the record held by R. Walker (Wellington), which has stood since 1963.
