Girl’s Body Found

(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Nov. 13. The body of a teenage girl found in the Waikato River in Hamilton just after 8 a.m. today has been identified as that of a missing Hamilton Girls’ High School pupil. She was Lesley Myra Wallace, aged 15. The body was discovered snagged among willows by men working on a Roose Shipping Company boat. The police were notified and the body was recovered shortly afterwards. It was identified by the girl’s father Mr J. A. Wallace, of Te Akau.
