Alarm, Answer Firms Linked
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Nov. 13. Wormaid Bros Industries (N.Z.), Ltd, of Auckland, has acquired an interest in Answer Services (Holdings), Ltd, for an undisclosed cash consideration. Mr W. Jarvie, general manager of Wormaid Bros, said the move was a natural extension of the group’s interests in the burglar alarm and security fields. Answer Services would operate from stations in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington and Christchurch.
The Wormaid subsidiary, Vigilant Alarms, would be able to offer a more comprehensive package service in association with Answer Services.
