DROUGHT IN WAIKATO
Dairy Output Falls
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, Nov. 10. Dairy production in Waikato was falling because of the drought, the field superintendent for the Department of Agriculture (Mr G. L. Bamfield) said today. “Some areas are being hit worse than others,” he' said. “In Coromandel the water shortage is very serious. If we don’t get rain within the next week, this season’s production could be severely jeopardised.”
