Sociologists Not Interested N.Z. Press Association AUCKLAND, October 10. No staff had been attracted to Auckland University’s sociology department, despite 18 months effort. Professor D. W. G. Timms said today. Repeated advertisements in New Zealand and abroad had produced no reasonable applicants, he said. Three people privately approached were interested but withdrew because of low salaries or lack of research facilities.
