Man Arrested In Geneva
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) BERNE, Oct. 8.
Switzerland has disclosed another spy case, this time involving a Frenchman arrested on charges of selling foreign identity papers to a Russian working for an international organisation in Geneva
The Attorney-General (Mr Hans Walder) told a press conference that the Frenchman, whom he identified as Maurice Saurel, aged 40, a salesman, had also worked as a part-time technician for the International Telecommunications Union.
The Russian, Yevgeni Kochegarov, aged 41, was protected by his diplomatic immunity because he worked for the I.T.U.
The other spy case, less than two weeks ago, involved a Swiss engineer who is alleged to have sold secret plans for the Mirage jet fighter engine to Israeli agents.
