Man Pinned By Car

A car which slipped from a jack pinned a man for more than 20 minutes last evening.

Kevin Victor Hurst, aged 25, was working beneath the car in the garage of his home at 227 Greers Road when the mishap occurred. The rear of the car pinned him by the hips. , Neighbours worked for 20 minutes to jack the car clear of Mr Hurst He was then taken to the Christchurch Hospital by St John ambulance and was admitted.
