DEATH IN TUNNEL
Supervisor Crushed 6V Z Press Association) INVERCARGILL, July 1. An Australian concreting supervisor was crushed to death in the Deep Cove tunnel, Manapouri, at 3.30 a m. today when a section of a working platform fell on him. He was John Gerdon Paley, aged 38, married, with two children. Mr Paley and his family, who live in Invercargill, were due to return te Australia this month. The assistant project manager (Mr T. T.
