Stamp Award
A Wellington commercial artist, Len Mitchell, was today awarded first prize for his entry in a United Nations stamp design contest. The competition was to design a “fight cancer” stamp. In 1954 Mr Mitchell won an award which resulted in a famous United Nations human rights stamp showing a mother and child. In 1958 he won the human rights stamp award for a second time.—(P.A.)
