Two Properties Passed In

Two industrial properties were passed in at auction yesterday. The Papanui Bowling Club’s clubhouse, on three roods 3.8 perches, was passed in at $42,700. The auction was attended by about 30 persons. Zoned industrial 1, the property is at 11 Langdons Road. The clubhouse is a brick building of about 1500 sq. ft with a double garage. The Government valuation is $16,000. The auctioneer for Beasley, Packard and Chamberlain, Ltd, was Mr M. T. .Beasley. The second property, at 67 Sturrocks Road, Redwood, zoned industrial C, was passed in at $25,000. A four-roomed cottage is on the land, which covers four acres two roods 10 perches and has a frontage of 658 links. The Government valuation is $B9OO.

Mr D. 0. Chapman was the auctioneer for Ford and Hadfield, Ltd.
