Pay Increase

OVX Press Association; WELLINGTON, June 16. Dental workers have received increases in their minimum wage rates in a new award issued by the Court of Arbitration. Technicians have been granted an increase of $1.35 per week, and dental metal process workers an extra $1.15 per week. Female dental receptionists, attendants, and assistants have received weekly increases ranging from 43c to 78c. A female dental assistant with a certificate will receive an extra $1 a week from the date she produces the certificate to her employer.
