(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 16. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) has told the newlyelected President of France (Mr Pompidou) that he looks forward to a constructive partnership with him and his new Administration. In a congratulatory telegram, Mr Holyoake said: “The traditional friendship between France and New Zealand lends itself to close collaboration at Government level on problems of common interest, and it is in this spirit that I look forward to a constructive partnership with you and members of your Administration. “My Cabinet colleagues and I congratulate you on your well-earned victory, and extend to you our good wishes as you prepare to assume the responsibilities of your high office. “We know from the record you have already established in the service of France that you wiU meet these challenges with courage and distinction.”
