Perth Trip For Farmer
Mr J. S. Caverhill, Dominion president of the New Zealand Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs, will fly to Australia under the sponsorship of the Bank of New Zealand to attend the annual Australian Council of Rural Youth Conference and seminar in Perth. Mr Caverhill, who farms his own property, joined the Martinborough Y.F.C. in 1953. The bank is also sponsoring Mr R. Blundell, chairman of the Clevedon Young Farmers’ Club, who will leave for Queensland tomorrow to spend three months on a Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs overseas exchange visit.
