FASTBACK TORANA
'THE new six-cylinder Holden Torana, which will be announced soon as an answer to the Australian release of the Ford Capri, will have fastback styling, Australian correspondents report. It will be called the Torana GTS. Holden dealers in Australia have done particularly yell in the last few weeks as the result of a “sell-out” campaign aimed at getting rid of oldmodel Holdens before the new model was introduced.
The new Holden Brougham model is expected to be announced in a few days, and at present Australian dealers are selling 1969 Broughams at discounts of up to §7OO The new Holden panel vans and pick-ups will be an nounced at the end of this month.
Ford of Australia is expected to announce its new Falcon range at the end of this month.
