Lamb Price Increased
(N.ZP.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, June 4. A shortage of English lamb Is increasing the price of the New Zealand product in London, according to meat trade sources.
A month ago New Zealand lamb prices at Smithfield ranged from 2s 4d per lb to 2s 6fd. The range has risen to between 2s 6d and 2s lOd. Shops are now charging -*s lOd per lb for New Zealand leg and 7s for English legs.
