VACANCIES—PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANT WE PROPOSE to appoint an accountant, preferably fully qualified (but a young man in his final stages would be considered). The successful applicant will be directly responsible to cur Chief Accountant and will be expected to assist him in every aspect of his work. We are an old established but very progressive public company engaged in manufacturing activities throughout the South Island but marketing also to an increasing extent in the North Island. We have been through a difficult period but, owing in no small measure to the enthusiastic team work of our staff, we are showing a marked recovery. The new appointee will need the drive and enthusiasm to fit in with this team.

Modern accounting techniques are used, based on Computer Bureau services, but the emphasis is particularly on production of information of practical value promptly and at the lowest cost. The new appointee will be based in our modern Head Office in the Otago Savings Bank building in Dunedin but will be expected to maintain contacts with our various factories throughout the South Island.
