Tractor Death
(N.Z. Press Association) HASTINGS, Feb. 24. A young man died this morning when the tractor he was driving overturned on a farm property near Taihape. He was Douglas James Whale, aged 20, single, tractor driver, of Taihape. The dead man had been discing with a crawler tractor on a hillside. The tractor overturned and rolled on him, causing multiple injuries, which the police say caused instant death.
