N.A.F. Profit Up In Spite Of Season

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, February 24. A substantial increase in the number of livestock handled gave North Auckland Farmers’ Co-operative, Ltd, of Whangarei, a corresponding improvement in profit for the half-year to December 31. The directors reported that this increase was in spite of a very late and poor spring season. The outlook for the current half-year is satisfactory, they .say, and results for the full year should be in excess of last year’s record.
