Salty Butter

Sir,—l support “Less Salt Please” and with due respect to Mr J. G. Dunstan I feel that he has not looked into the matter deeply enough. On January 29, I could not quench my thirst; I had friends in for an evening and I blamed my own cooking and sandwich preparations for over-salting. The next .day I had a. plain biscuit with my early morning tea. I buttered the biscuit and found that the butter was over-salted. I regret now that I did not keep the but-

ter wrapper with its perforated number. Everybody knows to buy unsalted butter for people on diets. I think it would have been more gracious of Mr Dunstan to look into the inquiry than to reply as he did.—Yours, etc,, (Mrs) R. L. WOODHOUSE. February 6,. 1969.
