NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance and exercise ot the powers vested in it, in that behalf by the Counties Act, 1956 and subsequent amendments, the Paparua County Council at a Special Meeting held on Monday, February 3, 1969, passed a resolution by way of special Order Increasing the charge for investigations of water race applications as set out in By-law No. 26A from $2.00 to $3.00. A copy of the By-law is deposited in the Council Chambers, Sockburn, and is open for inspection by the public during Office hours until the 3rd day of March. 1969, when the Special Order will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary meeting of the Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, Sockburn, at 7.30 p.m. on that day. HIGH PRESSURE WATER SUPPLY NO. 3 REDEMPTION LOAN 1969 NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance ot the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1958, and amendments thereto, the Paparua County Council at a meeting held on the 3rd of February, 1969, resolved to raise a loan of $101,400 for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the High Pressure water Supply Loan 1958 of $472,000 which matures on July 1, 1969, subject to the terms of the sanction of the Local Authorities Loans Board. Repayment of the said loan and interest thereon shall bo secured by an annual recurring special rate of .011105 cents in the dollar made and levied on all rateable property in the County comprised in the security area of the original loan — i.e. the Sockburn and Hornby County Towns and the Township of Islington. NOTE: It is not proposed. to levy the security rate but to meet loan charges from present uniform annual charges pursuant to Section 118 3 (b) of the Counties Act, 1956.
