In Schruns-Tschagguns, Austria, she recently won the women’s special slalom with a time of 105.905ec, which gave her a lead over Austria’s Gertrud Gabi, who had been considered unbeatable until that time. In the World Cup, Miss Mittermaier at present has 70 points, putting her in third place behind Miss Gabi (90 points) and Anni Famose, of France (72.3 points).
