Dorans Bridge

Sir,—ln your report on Wednesday, January 29, of an incident in the Lewis Pass reference is made to Dorans Bridge. Could someone inform me as to the origin of this bridge? When was it named, and by whom? Has the name any reference to the district in which it is situated?—Yours, etc., J. DORAN. Methven, January 30, 1969.
