Few Wheat Samples

Indicative of the way the weather has been delaying the harvest, the director of the Wheat Research Institute (Mr R. W. Cawley) said on Thursday morning the number of samples received by the institute from the new season’s harvest had increased to only about 950. About a week earlier the number of samples received by the institute was almost 700. Mr Cawley said samples had been coming in very slowly and there had been no change in the quality position since the last report.
