Grace To Lift Dividend?
The directors of Grace Brothers, Ltd, the Auckland furniture and appliance- rei tailer, who have declared an I interim dividend of 34 per . cent, for the half year to (November 30, payable February 28, expect to recommend a higher dividend for the year than last year’s 5 per cent. i The company’s sales for (the first half of the financial i year showed a slight increase compared with the | corresponding period last year. “Trading at the Otahuhu I branch, which opened early |in November, is most satisfactory,” the directors say. “A new retail store is to be i built in Henderson for our ; occupancy in June of this ■ year. “During the period under ■ review margins have been . held and overhead has been !contained.”
