Police Exam. Passes
Sergeant J. D. Shields and Sergeant S. I, Young, of the Christchurch Central Police Station, have passed examinations qualifying them for promotion to the rank of commissioned officer.
Detective Sergeant S. W. Byers, head of the Christchurch vice squad, Sergeant G. F. Davidson and Constable M. Morresey have passed the senior-sergeant examinations. Detective T. K. Watkins, of the Christchurch C.LB., has passed the sergeant examinations.
