Montage Wins At Yonkers
Montage was the best New Zealand-bred winner at meetings run at Yonkers Raceway, New York, during the week ended August 3. Montage, by Forward from Russian Time, won a race worth 35250 in 2m in 3sec. A former New Zealand-bred horse. Van Rebeck, finished sixth in the same event.
Glen Vale (Hal Tryax—Nithdale) won in 2min 4 3-ssec in a race woith $3250. Johnny Gold (Johnny Globe—Gold Pot) won in 2min 5 l-ssec in a race carrying a similar stake. Either Way (Stormyway— Fourthora) won a race of $BOO at Montecillo Raceway in 2min 8 3-ssec. and Final Count (Final Say—Donna Kaye) won in 2min ssec in a race of $3OOO at Sportsman's Park.
