Four More Carnivals

In an effort to give Canterbury surf life-saving clubs more competition and keep the championship carnivals for title events only, four nonchampionship afternoon carnivals will be held on Saturdays during the coming season. They will include swimming and craft and beach events only.

The first three nonchampionship carnivals will be held on the Saturdays before the association championships and on the same beach. The fourth will be held on Sumner beach the Saturday before the final association carnival at Taylor’s Mistake.
