HE REFUSES TO MOVE.—Mr Yojiro Sakaki, owner of this small Tokyo fish shop, says he will not move until he gets more money. The planning department of the city, which wants to construct a spacious plaza in the Yurakucho district, has compensated owners of the alley and demolished their little wooden shops—all except this one. Each time the civic authorities bring pressure to bear, Mr Sakaki obtains a Court order that all utilities will be continued and all forceful actions prohibited. Tokyo citizens are watching the “mite against mighty" battle with interest. Multi-storey buildings surround his embattled territory.
