HELD DAY PLANNED

A field day will be held on the property of Mr Forbes Taylor, Ben Lea, Rakaia Gorge, on Tuesday, beginning at 1.30 p.m. Mr Taylor has used a Howard Rotaseeder during the last few months to direct-drill chou moellier, turnips and winter • feed cereals into chemically sprayed pastures. More recently wheat has been direct-drilled Into sprayed pasture. It is hoped to give a demonstration of the Rotaseeder and a short talk on direct-drilling during the afternoon.
