Weaver, at the halfway stage of the Northern Hurdle Horsemen’s Association competition for the Bren Langford Memorial Trophy. The competition, which la restricted to junior jumping riders, la ataged annually from Batter Saturday to August 31. Prevloua winners of the Bren Langford Memorial Trophy have been B. J. Leggett, G. C. Moo, and G. N. McLelsh. Pointe gained up to and including the South Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting last Wednesday on a basia of four for first, two for second and one for third, are:— C. B.
