RECORDING EQUIPMENT to measure the penetration of light at various depths being lowered into Lake Coleridge by Mr M. Flain, assistant fishery scientist for the Marine Department in Christchurch. The results obtained from this and other investigations in Lake Coleridge during the last two yeans have yielded information for a fish management policy for the lake. Mr R. Goode, a department technician, is at the wheel.
