Young People’s Retreat

The first retreat run for young people by the Anglican Diocese of Christchurch is being held at the Sister Eveleen Retreat House at Sumner. It will end on Sunday. The vicar of Aranui (the Rev. D. I. B. Balfour), who will conduct the retreat, said that it would be open to persons over 18 from any denomination. The retreat would be an opportunity for young people to distract themselves from everyday living to recollect ibout God. After the retreat they would be able to respond to these thoughts, he said.
