N.Z. Squash Finalists
(N Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. It will be an all-Palmerston North final today in the men’s final of the New Zealand squash rackets championships. In yesterday’s semi-finals, D. Burmiester, the present titleholder, beat C. Waugh (Henderson), five times holder of the title, 9-2, 9-1, 9-3, and the No. 1 seed, T. Johnson, defeated P. Dibley (Remuera), 9-1, 6-9, 9-1, 9-3. In the women’s Anal, Mrs V. Biss (Palmerston North), the No. 1 seed, will play Mrs P. Buckingham (Remuera). tomorrow. M Biss beat Mrs J. Legg (North Shore), 4-9, 9-0, 4-9, 9-6, 9-4, and Mrs Buckingham defeated Miss A. Stephens (Hamilton), 9-7, 9-4, 7-9, 10-9.
